A couple of months ago when the weather was a bit nicer,
I used to sit on top of a hill and watch the landscape. So beautiful..
I tried to imagine myself going back in time, erasing the roads, the homes, adding more trees with my imagination.
Something along those lines. To be honest, I feel privileged to live in Switzerland at the moment. The countryside is never too far away and the habitations are not so close to one another like what I saw in most parts of the states where I lived.
To remain objective, I once lived in IN and honestly really enjoyed doing things like climbing fire towers and having a 360ยบ euphoria at the sight of the vast Yellowwood State Forest. <3
So there ARE some places in the states where you can get that "I'm the only man in the world" feeling.
I love this feeling..
What about you?

wubbin' is knowin' how music gives you that feelin'
AH! The nonsense!
Ha ha ha, it's so great to have friends with the same passion for music. As of late, I've found myself experimenting with some of the fundamentals in dub-step music such as the infamous 140, the wobble effects, the eerie synths.. The controversy of the dark lyricist in me is being called forward!
I seem to be stuck in a phase where most of the subjects of my latest songs, keep revolving around;
But don't get me wrong, I also do my share of love songs now and then.
I remember 4 years ago, I had this strange feeling that happy songs, (over-joyous ones, were somehow hypocritical). Don't ask me why..
Now though, my mindset has changed. I am able to do sincere happy, good feely songs. But right now i'm still stuck in this pattern. The EP I'm planning to put out is probably going to be dark but I'm gonna put 1-2 happy songs in there for y'all.

What about the end of days..?
Here I come again!
Here I come again!
Some-bo-dy ple-e-ase let the fiyah in!
Today is a great day for making music, I'm gonna listen to a few songs online and then, probably gonna put together my mini set-up (consisting of a Blue "Snowball" USB mic, an 88 keys M-Audio midi keyboard and my trusty Macbook Pro).
I feel the ideas fuzing in my head already..
YAY!
Soon hopefully I'll be able to get some hands on some nice drums from my pal DJ Ursa (USA) and I'll be busy making arrangements all day everyday. Sometimes the perk in my life lies in being satisfied of something that seems little to some. So therapeutic to me !
On another note, everyone around me keeps talking about December 21rst. What a pain, with all that hype from folks as well as the political, economical and social crisis being now global, I feel we're headed for harder times. To explain a little bit my point of view on all this; I don't think that it will be the end of the world. Simply the end of the world AS WE KNOW IT.
I hate sounding like propaganda but those are my true feelings on that. I like history too and not to try to convince anybody to think like me, but rather to let out some info for the curious minds..

"Considered one of the most significant hieroglyphic finds in decades, the 1,300-year-old inscription contains only the second known reference to the "end date," but does not predict doomsday."
- discovery.com
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
"A date in the Maya calendar is specified by its position in both the Tzolkin and the Haab calendars which aligns the Sacred Round with the Vague Year creating the joint cycle called the Calendar Round, represented by two wheels rotating in different directions. The Calendar round cycle takes approximately 52 years to complete.
The smallest wheel consists of 260 teeth with each one having the name of the days of the Tzolkin. The larger wheel consists of 365 teeth and has the name of each of the positions of the Haab year. As both wheels rotate, the name of the Tzolkin day corresponds to each Haab position.
The date is identified by counting the number of days from the “creation date”.
A typical long count date has the following format: Baktun.Katun.Tun.Uinal.Kin.

It's just the end of a cycle, another will start shortly thereafter.
My suggestion would be to spend this time celebrating the winter solstice!

Still, when I watch or read the news on mainstream as well as independent media sources, all the tension in this world gives me anxiety lol.
On that note, I'm going to go make some nice tunes.

Feeling deprived..
It's been forever ago since I last held a blog continously, I'm almost ashamed to admit it.
It seems that the time has come again for me to archive moments, thoughts, ideas and events. Let others into this odd little world of mine, where rhyme and time collide to create a small collection of lyrical paintings.
See? I'm getting caught up again. I'm bot feeling that great lately, it's tough being an artist, looking for a better paying job, struggling with bills and family. To feel better, I thought that I would start with a list of my favorite breakfasts.
Top 10 Breakfast favorites:
1. Fruit juice and bircher muesli (with blueberries and amaranth)
2. Roiboos vanilla tea and a brioche w/ salted butter
3. English PG Tips tea with milk & sugar and a english muffin with egg and cheddar
4. Fresh bananas cut up in a bowl of cereal with milk
5. A tall glass of apple juice and a greek yogurt with honey and granola
6. Green tea and garlic rice with a side of scrambled eggs (ketchup pls!)
7. Monk's Tea blend with Banana and chocolate chip pancakes (yum..syrup)
8. Lemon tea with scrambled eggs, toasts and marmalade
9. Apple tea with a nice freshly baked chocolate croissant
10. Starbucks Chai Tea latte (hot) with a slice Starbucks Banana and chocolate chip cake ( I only allow myself to buy starbucks on occasion, I like home-made cooking the most!)
Hey! but i'd like to know, what are some of your favorite breakfast foods?
When I was in the states, people used to like breakfast so much they had a saying that breakfast was good any day for any meal. (But there are so many other things out there that are great to eat, I wouldn't want to limit myself to only breakfast!)
That said, I go forward today, tomorrow is another day with a potential for new opportunities.
Hopefully, tomorrow I will feel better, heck, I thinks I'll make some more tracks and even if they don't pay the bills right now, they will make a nice catalogue of songs for me someday.
Peace & Unity,
Seilen.
